We are Archstone
We believe great companies aren’t defined by their areas of expertise — they are defined by their experts. Archstone provides high-quality rental housing and focused property management — making our communities better places to live, work, and play.

Christopher J. Salazar
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Chris Salazar is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Archstone Capital, a vertically integrated multifamily investment platform focused on institutional-quality value-add and newer-vintage assets across the Midwest. Chris leads the firm’s investment strategy, capital formation, and long-term vision, overseeing execution for a growing portfolio of workforce and market-rate housing.
Prior to founding Archstone, Chris acquired small-cap multifamily assets on behalf of his own account and outside investors starting in college. Through this process, he built a reputation for uncovering mispriced opportunities and executing complex renovations. His early experience evaluating, acquiring, and operating multifamily properties across the Midwest laid the groundwork for Archstone’s unique vertically integrated model.
Under his leadership, Archstone has scaled into a multi-market platform with dedicated teams across acquisitions, property management, and construction. Chris is known for his operational intensity and ability to build trusted relationships with equity partners, lenders, and operators.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling with family, staying active, and spending time with investors and industry partners. His active lifestyle complements his focus on building Archstone into one of the leading private multifamily investment firms in the region.
